SUMMARY Webinar “Communicating responsible practice in mineral supply chains”
CAMCHAL, German-Chilean Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with GIZ organized the webinar on the topic “Communicating responsible practice in mineral supply chains: sustainability standards and technological solutions”, which took place on Thursday, 12th November. The event was part of the project Eco Mining Concepts, the Chilean-German network for sustainable mining.
The webinar aimed to demonstrate the different initiatives and standards that exist to improve the communication about responsible practices in mineral supply chains and to present technological solutions in this regard. In a panel discussion, representatives from BMW, SQM, the Chilean mining company ENAMI and the Chilean Copper Corporation (Cochilco) shared their different approaches to addressing the issue.
